Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: July 30, 2026
You can request deletion of your Jursu account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to submit a request and what happens to your data.
To request deletion, email us with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account:
Email [email protected]1. What Gets Deleted
Once your request is verified, we permanently delete:
- Your account profile (name, email, password)
- Your personal settings and preferences
- Notifications and device tokens associated with your account
2. What May Be Retained
Some data may be retained after account deletion where required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes, including:
- Matter records, client records, and firm data that belong to your law firm rather than to you individually, where other members of your firm still have an active account (deleting your personal account does not delete your firm's matter data)
- Invoices and billing records, retained as required for accounting and tax compliance
- Records we are required to keep to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
If you are the sole user of a firm account and want the firm's matter and client data deleted as well, please state this explicitly in your request.
3. How Long It Takes
We process deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your identity and confirming the request comes from the account holder.
4. Questions
If you have questions about this process, see our Privacy Policy or contact us at [email protected].
